At Little Taddies, we are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and its principles of Belonging, Being and Becoming. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where children feel confident to learn, grow, and explore. Our play-based program supports children to develop a strong sense of identity, wellbeing, and connection. Through meaningful learning experiences, children build confidence, curiosity, and communication skills, becoming capable and engaged learners.
We recognise and value each child as a unique individual, respecting their family, culture, and home experiences. Independence is encouraged in age-appropriate ways, with learning extended naturally from home to the Centre. Children learn best through play. They are supported to explore, experiment, ask questions, and follow their interests in a warm, engaging environment where friendships and positive relationships are encouraged.
We value open and respectful partnerships with families and welcome their involvement in all aspects of Centre life. Clear communication is a priority, and all feedback, ideas, and concerns are always treated with care and respect.
Little Taddies maintains strong connections within our local community. Children are encouraged to develop an understanding of the world around them through community involvement and meaningful experiences. For children in the Quokkas group (3 years and over), local excursions provide opportunities to build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging beyond the Centre.
We are committed to fostering a respectful, supportive, and flexible working environment. Educator wellbeing is valued, and we aim to support a healthy work–life balance, allowing our team to provide high-quality education and care.
